INGREDIENTS

3-4 pieces fried tilapia
1 sachet MAGGI MAGIC SARAP 8g
Cooking oil for frying
2 tbsp annatto oil
2 tbsp crushed garlic
1 onion, sliced
1 puso ng saging, sliced thinly
2 pieces talong, sliced diagonally
1 cup sitaw cut-ups
2 cups water
½ cup peanut butter
1 sachet MAGGI MAGIC SARAP 8g
Patis and sugar
1 cup pechay, cut into halves

Bagoong alamang guisado

PROCEDURE

  1. Rub tilapia with MAGGI MAGIC SARAP. Fry until golden brown. Set aside.
  2. Heat annatto oil. Sauté garlic and onion until fragrant. Add puso ng saging and sitaw.
  3. Pour in water and bring to a boil. Thicken with peanut butter and season with MAGGI MAGIC SARAP, patis and sugar.
  4. Add pechay then remove from heat. Top fried fish with kare-kare sauce before serving. Serve with bagoong.
