Eggless Leche Flan

INGREDIENTS

Caramel:
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup water
Leche Flan:
2-3 tbsp white or yellow unflavored gelatin
½ cup water
1 cup condensed milk
½ cup evaporated milk
¾ cups NESTLE Fresh Milk
4 tbsp vanilla

PROCEDURE

  1. In a llanera, boil sugar and water until caramelized. Be careful not to burn. Tilt the llanera back and forth to evenly distribute the caramel. Set aside.
  2. In a bowl, dissolve the gelatine powder in water. Set aside to bloom.
  3. Pour condensed milk, evaporated milk and NESTLE Fresh Milk in a pot. Allow to simmer without boiling over low heat. Add vanilla and stir frequently. Pour in the gelatine mixture and let it simmer for 1-2 minutes while stirring constantly until gelatin is dissolved.
  4. Remove the pot from the heat. Gently pour the mixture on top of the prepared caramel.
  5. Refrigerate until firm. Transfer on a plate before serving.
