Adobong Kangkong Garlicky Cheese Dip
This classic Filipino dish is given a sophisticated twist by serving it with cheese, and as an hors de oeuvre.
1 tbsp crushed garlic
¼ cup vinegar
¼ cup MAGGI Soy Sauce
2 tsp sugar
4 cups blanched, chopped adobong kangkong
2 heads garlic, minced
½ cup olive oil
1 tbsp MAGGI MAGIC SARAP
½ cup Parmesan cheese
½ cup grated Mozarella cheese
Crusty bread, baguette slices, pandesal
- Combine garlic, vinegar, MAGGI Soy Sauce, sugar and kangkong in a pot. Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 more minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
- Drain cooked kangkong then chop. In a bowl, mix together kangkong, minced garlic, olive oil, MAGGI MAGIC SARAP and the cheeses.
- Bake on a 350 degrees pre-heated oven or oven toaster until cheese is melted.
- Serve with crusty bread, baguette slices and pandesal.
