INGREDIENTS

½ cup minced onion
1 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp salt
1 tbsp black pepper
1 tbsp garlic powder
½ cup calamansi juice
1 sachet MAGGI MAGIC SARAP 8g
1 ½ kilo boiled pork ribs
1 cup banana catsup
½ cup cooking oil

PROCEDURE

  1. Combine onion, brown sugar, salt, black pepper, garlic powder and calamansi juice and MAGGI MAGIC SARAP in a bowl and mix well. Store in the refrigerator until ready to use.
  2. Apply rub evenly over the ribs. Leave to marinate for at least 30 minutes. Grill over heated charcoal for 10 minutes each side while basting with banana catsup-cooking oil mixture.
